Meet Leanna

Raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Leanna Adams couldnt wait to see the world.  While she didnt go far to college, Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, was a whole new world for her. After graduating from college, Adams lived in Manhattan and Wuhu, China.  She has experienced the world through the eyes of various occupations including a paralegal, an office manager at a dot.com, an event planner and a teacher.

A member of the South Carolina Writers Workshop and the Atlanta-based Write Club, Adams has been writing fiction and nonfiction for years. Her writing experience ranges from business communications to an article she wrote entitled Bumper Cars in Wuhu, China was published on March 10, 2007 on Travelmag.co.uk as their top headline of the month.  

As a
Public Relations Specialist at Flourishing Business Adams keeps in regular contact with the local media, and advises clients on how to dress up their image, create a name for themselves and make a media splash.

Fun Facts

Leanna is getting married August 16, 2008, which is Elvis death date.  She is a huge Elvis fan and is having her band bring out an impersonator in honor of the king.

Leanna has a one-year old golden retriever named Murphy, who she adores.  She hopes that he wont eat every piece of furniture in her house, but he's well on his way.

After living in China, Leanna wrote a memoir of her crazy experiences there including eating pigs feet, almost being robbed on a bus and getting around a country with next to no understanding of the language.

Leanna loves to dance and takes classes at Dance 101. Her favorite right now is Jazz followed by Hip Hop.
